Cheryl Cole is apparently helping her pal Will.I.Am find a house in London.

According to The Mirror, Chezza is using her spare time to help the Black Eyed Peas star find a permanent base in the capital ahead of his role as a coach on new BBC1 talent show, The Voice.

An insider told the tabloid: "Cheryl has told him to leave it all up to her. She knows his taste, arty with fab architecture or a futuristic feel. They’ve ruled out a tacky bachelor pad.

“Wherever they choose, studio space will be vital. He is always working and does not want to put his beat-making on hold.”

The source added: “Will is desperate to lay down some roots. He helped Chez in LA last year when she was there for X Factor, so she wants to return the favour.”

It is thought that while Will is in London, he will be advising on the Girls Aloud babe's third solo album, as well as working with UK super-producer, Labrinth.

Over the weekend, the Boom Boom Pow star rapper also revealed that late legend Michael Jackson was keen to work with Cheryl before his death in 2009 and that he was planning to write a song for them to record.

Will told The People: "I told Michael Cheryl was the hottest thing in the UK and he was keen to meet her. I was gonna write them a song."
