Chris Brown Reaches Out After Twitter Hack
Chris Brown has reached out to Cher after a fake Twitter account claiming to be him threatened to "beat" her.
A tweet created by a duplicating site caused tension between the stars after the fake message told Cher to keep her negative opinions on President Barack Obama to herself.
"That damn GRANNY bitch CHER needs to keep her mouth SHUTTTT about her opinion against obama !!! smh she needs a beating (sic)," the tweet read.
Cher's fans were quick to alert the star to the threat and began aiming negative messages at Chris Brown's real Twitter account.
One of Cher's dedicated fans asked her: "Cher, how do you feel about Chris Brown saying he was gonna hit you." Cher retweeted the query and replied: "I don't know. Is that something he's particularly good at?"
However, Brown was quick to clarify the situation and reassure Cher that he had not made the threat against her.
"@cher if this is your real twitter I would like to say that some of ur fans like @cherarmy1 are spreading false accusations," Brown tweeted.
"I have the utmost respect for u as an artist! @cher. Just to clear this up," he added.
Cher responded: "Thanks Chris,Appreciate The Sentiment!As artist I'm Always Impressed by u!No war!no throw 'n Shade!Just peace Goin C Pres.2morrow,Am excited (sic)."
